Tuesday's Truth

The truth is that I'm nervous about getting a new governor...I really don't want them to change my 4-10s schedule!

The truth is that I listened to the Hairspray soundtrack over the weekend for the first time in months...and I couldn't help but sing along to every song.

The truth is that I'm 1/4 Swedish.

The truth is that they moved my calves. Now I have to really crane my neck to look at them.

The truth is that I'm ok with them moving the calves (meaning my baby cows that live down the street, I just realized that sounded really confusing...like I'm talking about my legs or something) because, let's face it, they're growing up and getting old. Plus, they're plowing the field where they used to be which means they're planting corn...which is exciting because I love looking at cornfields.

The truth is that Corey just told me that hot dogs aren't that good (really? you think?) and that he'd probably like them better if they were flat instead of round. He's a weird one, that Corey.

The truth is that we're going to be out of town for the next two weekends, and we're excited for the fun adventures that are in store.

The truth is that we met with our adoption caseworker today for the first time. It was nice to get some questions answered and to be able to turn in a bunch of our paperwork.

The truth is that I can't stand it when my toenails aren't painted...it drives me crazy.

The truth is that I can belch ridiculously loud. In fact, I once taught some of the little boys that I used to babysit how to belch, and they've loved me ever since, and they STILL tell their friends about it (and they're now 19 and 17). Kind of embarassing, but if you've got talent you've got to use it (and teach others), right?

I was totally planning my comment about how sad it is that they moved your leg muscles...then I read your next truth. Hahaha.

And I'm excited for the weekend, too!

Amen to Lisa, I was trying to figure out where "they" put them, and (more importantly) who "they" were!

Also yay for the adoption caseworker. I hope that went REALLY well! And I think it's great to share your gifts with others, "hide it under a bushel? no. I'm gonna let it shine!"
